Roller Skating

Roller skating develops coordination and balance. Improve the sense of body position in space. They allow you to develop different muscle groups when skiing. In children with disabilities, due to the strengthening of the muscular frame, strength, dexterity, and endurance develop. The ligaments are strengthened; the mobility of the joints develops.

For example:
  • Children with cerebral palsy, abductor and extensor muscles begin to actively develop, which contributes to the proper development of muscle groups
  • Kids with ASD begin to socialize better, their horizons expand, they are easier to deal with failures, and communicative functions develop.
  • Children with Down syndrome develop endurance, increase their ability to work and the desire to overcome difficulties to the end.
  • Due to the fact that there are many directions in roller sport, they allow you to try them all in the future.

Dima joined Dream League in December 2019, with decades of experience in various sports. Since that time, he has worked with more than 50 special kids in alpine skiing, rollerblading, rock climbing, and volleyball. He prefers working with special kids because they have more vivid and pure emotions. Among the parents Dima is known for his patience, ability to find an individual approach, and to find solutions even in the most challenging cases.
After 15 years in professional alpine skiing, Alex was forced to end his sports career due to an injury that resulted in serious mobility limitations. It was a challenging period of self-overcoming to get back on his feet. Alex dreamed of returning to his favorite sport and became a sports coach. Later, he was invited to join Dream League and decided to accept the challenge. By the end of the very first session, he already knew that he wanted to dedicate his life and experience to working with special kids. Over the course of 4 years, Alex has trained more than 70 children.
Hardly visually impaired from his early childhood, Mike faced challenges in participating in active sports, impacting various aspects of his young life. However, he persistently sought to incorporate sports into his life. In his subsequent career, Mike became the co-owner of a sports club, organized sports tournaments, and contributed to the Olympic and Paralympic Games. With a desire to help special kids lead active and joyful lives, Mike decided to introduce the Dream League program to GCC countries.
